In the late 1920s and early 1930s, the Ford Model A was one of the most publicized and best-selling cars in America. It was sporty, attractive, well-built, and smooth-running compared to the Model T, which it replaced in the 1928 model year. It was available in a dizzying array of body styles and up for grabs today is a 1931 Ford Model A with a truck body style that has roughly 125k invested. This impressive 1931 Ford Model A presents itself with a brandywine exterior paint coat, perfect for cruising around and going to auto shows! This Model A is a show level rotisserie restored restomod, that was 2 1/2 years in the making. The all steel body is solid and all sheet metal from the beltline down has been replaced. The bed has dark oak wood with chrome strips; Modifications to the firewall, drip rails and dash have been made; Additional features include an electronic fuel pump and starter; omega custom gauges; aeromotive phantom fuel pump and baffle system; Walker radiator; Ford 408 strocker small block engine with Borla 8 stack fuel injection CVF serpentine system and polished stainless steel exhaust; 4 wheel disk brakes
Dyno tested at 5900 rpm max = 451.6 hp; Hand fabrications include: fan shroud, hood frame (except hinges-66 Chevy Nova) brackets, injector cover, brake pedal, tailgate latches & rear fender nuts
Transmission: C6 Ford 2800 Stall converter, Gennie shift kit
Frame: Boxed. Heidts Super Ride independent front suspension
Front end: Heidts Super Ride
Rear end: Currie 9", Four bar, QA1 coll over w/Watts link
Wheels: Ridler 17" 605
