The Chevy II, later called the Nova, was an extremely popular small car that was introduced by Chevrolet in 1962. While many of these cars were simply used as economical transportation, enthusiasts and street racers immediately recognized the benefits of its compact size and light weight. By the time that this beautiful 1971 Nova came along the car had earned a fierce reputation as a street warrior and this stunner fully fills those shoes. Lift the functional steel cowl hood and you'll find a 4-bolt main 383 stroker that's been fortified with Brodix 200cc aluminum heads, an Eagle steel crank and 5.7" rods, Keith Black pistons, a COMP Cams hydraulic roller Thumper camshaft, an Edelbrock RPM Airgap aluminum intake manifold, a Holley carburetor, a nice set of wrapped headers, HEI, and a 4-row ZL1-type radiator with twin electric fans. Additional features include power steering, power 4-wheel disc brakes, Vintage Air A/C, 700R4 automatic transmission, 8.8" rear end with 3.73 Posi, fabricated subframe connectors, KYB front and Koni rear shocks, restored subframe with Moog ball joints, springs, and bushings, an excellent Pypes stainless steel exhaust with X-pipe, full Dynamat insulation, '74 Nova tilt column with custom wheel, a vintage Jensen stereo with Pioneer speakers, and classic American Racing Torque Thrust wheels wrapped with BFG T/A Radials (205/60R15 F, 255/60R15 R).
