The 3rd generation of Chevrolet's C/K series of pickup trucks (1973-1991) was the longest-produced version, remaining in production for 18 model years and continuing to offer more comfort and convenience options. Ironically nicknamed "square bodies" by the public, these trucks were actually called the "Rounded Line" by GM because they were the first generation of the C/K series to make use of computers and wind tunnels for drag reduction. This sweet 1986 Chevy Silverado K-10 is an outstanding example of of these beloved trucks. Lift the hood and you'll see the original 305 ci version of Chevy's ubiquitous small block 5.0 liter V8, the most popular engine on earth with well over 100 million produced. Original RPO label located in glove box shows original features, most of which are still present. This K-10 features Silverado Equipment (YE9): the Exterior Decor Package, power steering, power front disc brakes, air conditioning (C60), 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive (MXO), 3.08 rear axle (GU4), auxiliary fuel tank (NL2), automatic locking hubs (X6Z), cruise control (K34), tilt steering column (N33), rally wheels (N67), and a Pioneer stereo.
