1961 Vespa Cushman 150cc Standard Magneto Driven

Welcome to Street Dreams in Texas as we celebrate our 24th year in the classic and muscle car business. We are always happy to present you with another rare classic ride: This is a very rare Vespa / Cushman. In November 1960 Cushman entered into a distribution agreement with Piaggio to sell a certain amount of Vespas in addition to its own scooters. The agreement would have lasted to 1966 but required Cushman to meet certain sales quotas. Unfortunately for Cushman scooter sales weren't that high in 1961 and 1962. Cushman only sold 1,341 scooters in 1961 which includes all models 125cc, the150cc and the G.S.

This is a 1961 150cc of which less than 1000 were sold. This scooter has been restored and is in very good condition. It has a 2stroke 150cc engine and can reach a top speed of around 50 mph.
