Chevy realized that they needed a more conventional design than the revolutionary rear engine, air-cooled Corvair after being trounced by the Falcon in the sales race. Additional features include a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission, a 12-bolt rear end coded 3.07 Posi (PO), front and rear stabilizer bars, and classic rally wheels wearing Goodyear tires (195/65R15 F, 215/70R15 R).
