61 Chevrolet Corvette 283ci V8 2x4bbl Duntov Cam 270hp Muncie 4-Speed Roman Red

Welcome to Street Dreams in Texas as we celebrate our 25th year in the classic and muscle car business. We are always happy to present you with another top notch dreamy iconic classic car. This 1961 Chevrolet Corvette has a 283ci V8 with two four-barrel carburetors and a new Dontov Cam with solid lifters. This combination makes for 270hp in this beautiful Roman Red convertible. The car has a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission with a heavy duty 427 clutch. This car has had a full nut bolt and everything in between restoration. The restoration took about 8 years. The car has it's original correct block 3756519 with date code L170 being produced in late 1960. The starter, generator, gauges, and steering box were rebuilt. The car has a new aluminum Arrison radiator. All the Chrome has been re-plated. The paint has all been taken down to the fiberglass and repainted with the correct Roman Red even the wheels on the outside. The car has been outfitted with a '61 Corvette replica Wonderbar radio that will handle AM/FM as well as Bluetooth. The original radio is in the trunk.
