Datsun (now Nissan) forever changed the sports car world when they released their amazing 240Z in 1970. Universally acclaimed for its styling, performance, and especially its value, the 'Z' was an enormous success that got the attention of every sports car manufacturer. As burdensome federal safety and emissions regulations progressed through the 1970's, the 'Z' began to lose some of its sparkle. This was addressed in 1975 when Datsun introduced the legendary 280Z with a bored out and fuel injected 2753 cc engine. This new engine performed so well that many enthusiasts prefer these early 280Z's with the shorter wheelbase and fuel injection. Our beautiful Light Blue Metallic 1976 280Z is an extraordinary example of these delightful and important cars. Peer into the immaculate engine bay and you'll see the original (EN 087497) engine sporting a polished cam cover, an aluminum radiator, and nary a drip from the well-maintained FI system. Additional features include a fully independent suspension, upgraded electric power steering, power front disc brakes, air conditioning, automatic transmission, Dynamat insulation, a Sony AM/FM/CD stereo, custom steering wheel, and premium Panasport alloy wheels wrapped in correct-sized (195/70R14) tires. This is special car with excellent paint, trim, chrome, upholstery, and headliner that runs and drives beautifully.
