'66 with 389 Tri-Power V8 and 4-Speed

Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 21st year in the classic and muscle car business. Pontiac's GTO is largely credited with being the first muscle car by automotive enthusiasts and writers. Yes, there were Corvettes and Chrysler 300's with powerful engines and lightweight racing specials like the Chevrolet Z11, but these were expensive cars, some with limited availability. So when Pontiac dropped their big 'Bonneville' 389 V8 into the midsize LeMans for 1964, it ushered in a new era of affordable automotive performance. Almost immediately the GTO attained, then held, its legendary status in the pantheon of automotive legends. Our potent 1966 GTO clearly demonstrates the performance and styling that helped create the legend. PHS documentation reveals that this beauty was loaded with factory options including the Tri-Power 389 V8 (WS), 4-speed manual transmission (77W), Safe-T-Track differential (731), Wonder Touch power steering (501), Wonder Touch power brakes (502), rally gauge cluster and tachometer (448), console (472), push button radio (342), rear seat speaker (351), Soft-Ray tinted windshield (532), and front/rear floor mats (631,632). Please note the stunning and correct Turquoise trim (220) in the images. If you haven't heard a Tri-Power Pontiac at full song, you're truly missing out. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
