By 1955 Ford's F-100 was in its 3rd year of production and had just received the new grille treatment that would ensure classic status for decades to come. Under the tilt hood (you can reach everything!) is a torque-laden Ford 460 big block that's been fortified with an Edelbrock Streetmaster 460 aluminum intake manifold, Shelby air-cleaner, Ford Racing polished aluminum valve covers and a modern Holley electronic fuel injection, and an aluminum radiator with an electric fan. Comfort and convenience items include power steering, Hydra-Boost engineered power front disc brakes, Vintage Air air conditioning, front clip with independent suspension, C6 automatic transmission, an Ididit polished tilt steering column, VDO gauges, billet window cranks and door handles, and a newer stereo with Bluetooth capability. Rolling stock consists of BF Goodrich wide white wall radials mounted on Steele's and Ford hubcaps as well as the accent trim rings giving a great timeless look. you can cruise around as is or add horsepower producing hardware without worrying about reliability.
