Beneath the beautifully crafted double-hinged hood lies the original OHV 248 ci I8 engine with its seemingly endless supply of torque. Buick's new motto became Valve in Head-Ahead in Value thanks to this advanced design which Buick's competitors could not match until well after the war. This excellent engine is backed by the original 3-speed manual transmission. This car is not show-perfect with items like the cracked steering wheel needing attention, but the correct Bandelier Blue paint and Tan Bedford Cord interior will look nice on cruise night.
