What is often forgotten is the fact that only some serious scrambling by GM's engineering staff changed the Corvette from a stylish cruiser into a serious performance car. Our gorgeous Polo White/Venetian Red 1957 Corvette clearly demonstrates that change. This classic is built to drive, powered by a strong 350ci small block fortified with an Edelbrock C26 aluminum intake manifold, 2 Edelbrock AVS 4bbl carburetors, long tube headers, MSD ignition, and a new aluminum radiator. The correct engine (283/245, BCN 3731548, F507EH) is also available. Additional features and upgrades include a 3-speed manual transmission, power brakes, new Stewart Warner gauges, modern headlights, a RetroSound radio with iPod/iPhone, USB MP3/WMA playback, and a beautiful set of Kelsey-Hayes-type wire wheels wrapped in 205/75R15 wide whitewall radial tires for additional performance and safety. This is also one of the 931 1957's that featured the auxiliary hardtop in place of the soft top. A very capable, entertaining, and beautiful classic that's happy to cruise all day long, but is able to pin your ears back with a stomp on the throttle.
