Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 20th year in the classic and muscle car business. When Lee Iacocca and Ford unleashed the Mustang to an unsuspecting public on April 17, 1964 there were some hints that the new car would be popular, but nobody was prepared for the Mustang avalanche that is still rolling after 53 years. Millions of these cars touched tens of millions of lives in America and around the world, lifting the car to legendary status almost immediately. Mustangs share characteristics with other famous Fords such as the Model T, the Model A, and the early V8's-- mass production, great popularity, affordable price, performance image, and trend-setting contributions to the industry. Which brings us to this handsome 1966 coupe, an entry-level-priced classic with the very desirable 'original' body style (1965-1966). This nice little cruiser is still powered by the smooth 200 ci I6 and sports the C4 automatic transmission, full console, full gauges and 140 mph speedometer (new for '66), wire wheel covers, and a newer stereo. The most impressive attributes, however, are the straight body, good trim, and outstanding interior. This is a terrific little cruiser that can be thoroughly enjoyed as is or used as a great starting point for that dream project. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
