This stunning Corvette was built by Bill Dawson, owner of Corvette Correction in Seguin, Texas. Corvette Correction is an automotive company renowned throughout the industry for manufacturing specialty custom frames and rolling chassis for vintage C1–C3 Corvettes and Chevy trucks.
The car is powered by a modern LS3 V8 engine producing 430 horsepower and paired with a smooth 4L65E automatic transmission. It features a high-quality ABS electric power brake system for confident, modern stopping power. Rolling on beautiful Budnik wheels styled after classic knock-offs, the exterior retains all the iconic 1963 details, including factory-correct billet hood accents.
This restomod started with a genuine no-hit 1963 Split-Window body. Bill expertly grafted a C4 Corvette chassis using his proven techniques, creating a car that rides and drives like a contemporary sports car. He also fabricated custom fiberglass molded door panels and integrated a modern door handle system for a clean, sleek exterior appearance.
The interior is beautifully finished with premium leather upholstery, upgraded speakers, and custom Corvette detailing in the rear storage area. Additional modern comforts include air conditioning, power windows, a power hood, and the original-style power headlights.
