The Sedan Delivery has become a relatively obscure body style of a van built on a car chassis. No longer produced, these vehicles were manufactured in fairly large numbers from the late 1940's to the late 1950's and were a regular sight well into the 1970's. Traveling salesmen, delivery services, and plumbers often chose these economical vehicles which also served to advertise their businesses as rolling billboards. This wild 1952 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery, however, has found a new job as a jaw-dropping street rod. Beneath the curvaceous hood is a strong 409 V8 that's been fortified with dual Edelbrock carburetors, an Offenhauser aluminum intake manifold, headers, MSD ignition, and an aluminum water pump and radiator to keep things cool. Additional features include a Mustang II-type independent front suspension, a C4 Corvette independent rear suspension, power steering, 4-wheel disc brakes, Vintage Air A/C, a 4-speed manual transmission with Hurst shifter, a custom interior with VERY comfortable leather bench seat, tilt steering column with gorgeous Nardi wood wheel, a powerful audio system, cool windshield visor, digital gauges, dual exhaust with H-pipe and cutouts, and "big 'n' little" tires (R 235/55R17 R, 205/70R15 F) wrapped around alloy wheels.
