Yep, 8 distinct generations of Chevy's flagship have been prowling America's highways since the early days of the Eisenhower administration! And although all 'Vettes are special, particular attention is payed to the "chrome bumper" cars produced before 1973. In 1973 a new urethane front bumper met federal 5-mph impact standards, and by 1974 the handsome chrome bumpers were a thing of the past. This striking Mille Miglia Red 1972 Corvette Stingray Convertible is a beautiful example of these classic chromed chariots. Lift the hood and you'll find the numbers matching (BCN 3970014, VD 12S524267, EC V0612CKW) 350 V8 nestled in a well-detailed engine bay. Additional features include power 4-wheel disc brakes, a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission, correct custom interior trim with black leather upholstery (404), auxiliary hardtop, a newer AM/FM/Cassette stereo, and new B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A's (225/70R15) wrapped around classic and correct rally wheels. Our crimson cruiser runs and drives like a Stingray should while attracting more attention than Lady Godiva.
