Who doesn't enjoy a good, classic SUV? This 2nd generation IH Scout II is a perfect example of a tough suv that looks cool and still has daily driver comforts. This gem is equipped with the original 345 ci V8 that has been rebuilt and has that V8 growl through the sidepipes. Locking hub, manual 4 wheel drive works as it should. Sporting the long-wheelbase version of the popular Scout II, the Traveler has tons of extra cargo space behind the rear seat -- perfect for kids, pets, gear, etc. And like the regular Scout II, the hard top is removable. This Scout has a great stance and is off-road ready with a front bumper with grill guard, integrated wench, and spotlights, trailer towing package, rear bumper with towing capability and D-rings, Mickey Thompson 15” Performance wheels with front locking hubs, and off road Maxxis Mudder Buckshot 33x12.50R15 LT Tires. Believe it or not it is equipped with power steering and brakes as well as air-conditioning and an upgraded aluminum radiator to assist in keeping the engine cooler. With the popularity of the Broncos, Blazers, Jeeps, Grand Wagoneers and so forth we feel this baby is just as cool and you sure do not see them on every corner. This is a good old truck not a show piece but great to drive as is or restore to your liking. These vintage Scouts are becoming more rare and make a solid investment.
