 Following up on the stunning, totally restyled 1963 Corvette Sting Ray, the lightly updated 1964 models maintained Corvette's growing momentum with production rising to 22,229 units—a new all-time high. Fewer coupes, sporting a new one-piece rear window, were sold for '64, but substantially higher convertible sales that year made up the difference. Both Corvette models featured carefully simplified styling with fewer embellishments for a cleaner presence, while other updates for 1964 included better interior ventilation, more interior color choices and the debut appearance of the newly optional RPO P48 cast aluminum knock-off wheels. That being said, many car collectors seek the rare and unusual in order to stand out from the rest. Accordingly, this 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Convertible 327/250 C2 is worthy of inspection, as it is finished in the least common of the seven colors offered for 1964: Saddle Tan. This beautiful exterior is complimented with matching saddle convertible top. This classic is further matched with saddle interior, over the equally rare genuine leather seats.
