This survivor is one of only 1821 Mustang Cobra's produced in 1981, the final year of a brief 2-year production run. Beneath the correct domed hood is the 255 V8, a sleeved 302 that was Ford's response to the second "energy crisis" of 1979. Additional features include power steering, power front disc brakes, air conditioning, C4 automatic transmission, 2.26 rear axle, flip-up Open Air Roof, premium sound system, backlight louvers, leather wrapped steering wheel, interior accent group, console, Cobra Package, and Cobra hood graphics. The current 16" alloy wheels with 225/55R16 tires are a new "Plus 1" replacement for the ORIGINAL TRX wheels and P190/65R-390 tires which are included with the sale.
