Rare '57 GMC 100 Big Window, Step Side, Pontiac 347 V8, Hydramatic 4-spd Auto

As the Texas Hill Country's premier dealership for classic trucks, we're extremely pleased to offer this gorgeous 1957 GMC 100 in Placid Blue and Dover White. These trucks featured hooded headlights and a bumper with protruding circular guards which were styling themes that had earlier been associated with Cadillac. These styling cues, combined with the panoramic windshield and backlight, gave the trucks a decidedly upmarket appearance. This beauty is still propelled by its correct, impressive, yet little known powertrain; a (one year only) Pontiac 347 V8 spinning a Hydramatic 4-speed automatic transmission. This was in 1957, when the largest V8 that Chevrolet offered displaced 283 cubic inches and most automatic transmissions had only two forward speeds! As can be seen in the images, this highly desirable classic is clean from top to bottom, featuring good paint, glass, chrome, dash, gauges, trim, and upholstery.
