Feast your eyes on this killer Bright Red (PP1) 1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX. Although it took Chrysler 3 years to release a direct competitor to Pontiac's fabled GTO, it was well worth the wait. When both cars were equipped with base engines and transmissions, the GTX could run away from the Poncho without breathing hard. Of course, a 440 cubic inch V8 with 375 horsepower and 480 lb.-ft. of torque is some base engine! Capable of converting rubber into smoke, that docile yet powerful beast (83) is exactly what you'll find beneath the hood of our excellent GTX. Additional features noted on the fender tag include an A-833 4-speed manual transmission (3), 9.75" Dana 60 rear end with 3.54 gears and Sure Grip (68), console (A6), correct Bright Red paint (PP1), correct red bucket seat interior (P6R), and 5 red stripe tires (485, currently 4). Our crimson cruiser is sporting good paint, body, upholstery, and trim, while the images of the outstanding undercarriage speak for themselves. This is one of only 2,486 '67 GTX's that came with the Super Commando 440 V8 and 4-speed, so exclusivity is a given and further appreciation is more than likely.
