From a mere 456 SS's ordered that year, the option grew across Chevrolet's product lines until it became a separate model in the Impala line and claimed its iconic status in American car culture. Our sweet 1964 Impala SS (1447) is a fine example of this legendary marque that clearly demonstrates the virtues of these classy cruisers. Lift the hood and you'll be greeted by what appears to be the original (F05I5RB) 327/300 hp V8. What's better than a legendary engine powering an icon?
