Offered here is a nice example of a rare Kawasaki H1 Mach III, formerly known as the "Widow Maker" due to the extreme performance coming from the 2-stroke, 3-cylinder, 500cc engine. Designed to outperform the dominant British twins of the day, the overachieving H1 easily accomplished this task and set a new standard for street bike performance. Certainly not overwhelming by today's standards, the sudden burst of acceleration as the 2-stroke reaches its powerband is a unique thrill.
