'50 Champion 2-Door, Offy Intake, Twin Carbs, 3-Speed with O/D and Hill Hold
Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 23rd year in the classic and muscle car business. Largely forgotten now, Studebaker was an important and fascinating part of our American story. Formed in 1852 (!) to produce wagons, the company began automobile production in 1902. Our striking Bermuda Green 1950 Studebaker Champion sports the famous "bullet nose" styling penned by Bob Bourke under the direction of the legendary Raymond Loewy. Lift the uniquely-shaped hood and you'll see one of the coolest 6-cylinder engines around. This 170 ci jewel has been fortified with an aluminum Studebaker head, an aluminum Offenhauser dual intake with twin Carter carburetors, and headers feeding a dual exhaust system with H-pipe. A smooth 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive (and functioning Hill Holder!) allows relaxed highway cruising while enjoying the sweet music of the split exhaust. A previous owner reported a 1st Place at the Studebaker International Meet for this 1995 restoration. This is a beautiful example of a cool car that can be driven anywhere. Give us a call or come visit the team that makes dreams a reality. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
