The potent engine is a Ford Racing 302 sporting Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads, an aluminum intake manifold, and a Holley carburetor. The plentiful power is passed to a Tremec 3550 5-speed manual transmission, then out to the independent rear suspension. Backdraft is one of two South African Cobra manufacturers, generally regarded as the standard of the industry. Also, Backdraft Cobra's feature a wheelbase that is 2" longer than than stock, which allows more legroom and superior handling while not detracting from the classic styling.
