The 1967-1972 Chevrolet/GMC C/K series of pickup trucks are well on their way to achieving iconic status, just as the 1955-1957 Chevrolet passenger cars have. Just watch one of the next major auctions and you might be surprised at how many of these trucks are out there and at how much they've appreciated. Timeless styling and a superior ride (thanks to a trailing arm/coil spring rear suspension) are but two reasons for the incredible popularity of these 'Action Line' trucks. This nice 1971 Chevy C10 Cheyenne ably demonstrates these reasons and a few others. Lift the hood and you'll be greeted by the original 402 big block (EC T0813TKB) that generates enough torque for any job. Additional features include power steering, power front disc brakes, air conditioning, TH400 automatic transmission, 12-bolt rear end, and spray-in bedliner. The paint shows its age and there is some minor rust and a few dings on the body but the pans, frame, and chassis are excellent and she drives very well. The chrome, trim, carpet, headliner, upholstery, steering wheel, and dash pad are also outstanding. Whether it's work or play, this classic is ready for the next 50 years.
