This item measures in at approximately 25 1/2 inches tall with a 12 inch diameter. Magnolia Gasoline was started in 1911 in Galveston Texas. It was acquired by the Standard Oil Company of New York which later would be renamed Socony. After some time Vacuum Oil company joined the Socony oil company and they all began to use Magnolias “Red-Flying Horse” brand logo as a main logo for all their products. This later follows the renaming of the whole company in 1959 to the Mobil Oil Corporation.
