Rare 1960's Fiberglass Original Sinclair Dino

These vintage rooftop advertisements are an iconic piece of American oil company advertising history, and is highly collector coveted, and extremely hard to find. Most copies of this statue that you find will be made of cast aluminum but this is the original made of fiberglass. Any item featuring the Sinclair Dinosaur logo is highly sought after, but these rare statues are among the most prized of all. These statues were made in a number of different sizes, and this fiberglass variation from the 1960's measure 8 and a half feet (102 inches) from nose to tail! It is 50 inches tall, from the bottom of the foot, to the top of the head, and the body measures 25 inches wide. Furthermore, this particular original Sinclair Dino statue features a white neckband with the word "DINO" in red lettering, and the word "SINCLAIR" in red letters across the body of the statue. These markings make this statue far more rare than the more common, all green Sinclair Dino statues. This item does have a few nicks and scratches that have been highlighted in the photos. but overall is in very good condition. This original Sinclair Dino statue is a true centerpiece item, for even the largest petroliana or Sinclair collections, and is the type of item where once it's gone, you may never come across another one for sale.
