Larry Corn's Famous and Fabulous 1932 Ford Highboy, So-Cal Speed Shop Superstar

Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 25th year in the classic and muscle car business. This gift to the human race is, without question, the finest 1932 Ford Roadster that I have ever laid eyes on. Originally commissioned by Larry Corn approximately 20 years ago, this stunner was built with a tip of the cap toward another famous show-stopper; the California Kid '34 Ford Coupe. Larry worked closely with Pete Chapouris (of Pete and Jake's and creator of The Kid) and Mick Jenkins to refine the details, then put Pele Forsberg of So-Cal Speed Shop in charge of the project. Starting with a new steel Brookville body on So-Cal's signature step-boxed frame, the team got to work converting steel into the rolling artwork we see today. An '02 Chevy FastBurn 350 crate engine from Street & Performance, fortified with a Holley carburetor, aluminum intake, and Rod Sexton fabricated stainless steel headers, provides "motorvation". Additional blue chip features include a Richmond 5-speed manual transmission, a Currie 9" rear end, Pete & Jakes ladder bars, a 4" dropped So-Cal beam axle, hairpin radius rods, and spring, awesome disc-in-a Buick-drum front brakes, custom stainless steel exhaust by Jimmy Shine with Lakes-style headers with cutouts by Rod Sexton, a gorgeous interior with leather upholstery by Gabe Lopez, a custom So-Cal windshield with square corners, a perfectly peaked 3-piece hood, bodywork by Paco Carillo, "California Kid" flames by Dennis Rickleffs, and big-n-little tires (5.50R16 F, 7.00R18 R) wrapped around real Halibrand knock-off alloy wheels. Larry personally designed the distinctive, curved-shape front and rear spreader bars on an AutoCad program and had Texas Tool Works fabricate them in aluminum. Again, never before have I seen such outstanding fit and finish, attention to detail, or overall quality. A genuine top-shelf mechanical work of art. If you're in the market for one of the finest '32 Ford Roadsters on Earth, call the team that can make your dream a reality. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
