For Sale: 1972 Lincoln Continental Mark IV Coupe

This is a rare opportunity to own one of the most iconic luxury cars of the seventies. It is a loaded black on black Mark IV. Over $30,000 dollars was invested to make this car the jewel it is today. Starting with a really nice California car the paint and body are very nice with only a few small imperfections. The paint is only a couple of years old and shows very well. The chrome, trim, and glass are original and look great. Power comes from a completely rebuilt 460 V-8 with over 300 horsepower from the aluminum intake and aluminum heads. It features power front disc brakes, power steering, all new internals, electronic ignition, 4 barrel carburetor, and dual exhaust with a deep, mellow, quiet tone. The engine compartment is darn near show quality throughout. One of the best features is the addition of a automatic overdrive transmission. It shifts super smooth and gives you 1 more gear to help this car eat up the interstate or any road for that matter. It sure makes it a pleasure to drive and I mean it drives like a dream! Very smooth and comfortable. It has power windows, power door locks, updated CD stereo, tilt, cruise, and of course power seats. Speaking of seats, they are all original and showing a little dryness in the leather but otherwise very nice. It even smells good inside. the door panels are excellent as is the headliner. There is a split in the top of the dash and the rear lean back. Both easy fixes but the owner wanted to keep it as original as possible. For about $2500 bucks you can get all new seat covers and a new dash pad if originality is not an issue with you. All of the vacuum lines were replaced so everything operating off of vacuum IE: the factory air conditioning, hide-away head lamps, power emergency brake release, and power front disc brakes perform like they should. The trunk is carpeted and in very good condition showing very little wear. This is an outstanding luxury cruiser that anyone would be proud to own.
